Marriage Fellowship 2019
We are excited to begin another year of Biblical instruction and fellowship for our marriages. This year’s theme is “Learning To love-A Study Thru 1Corinthians 13.” 1 Corinthians 13 is one of the best known chapters in the Bible. But, when you look at it closely, and apply it to yourself, it becomes the examination of your spiritual life. It is deeply challenging, yet this is where God wants to deepen our marriage relationship.
We will kick off 2019 with a special screening of the movie “Indivisible,” on Saturday, January 26th at 6:00 pm, in the Gymnasium. Indivisible is based on the true story of Army Chaplain Darren Turner and his wife Heather. With a strong, faith-filled marriage, the Turners are ready to follow their calling: serving God, family, and country. As Chaplain Turner and his family arrive at Fort Stewart, Darren is deployed to Iraq. Heather is left taking care of their three young children alone … as well as serving the families of the other deployed soldiers. This is the story of one marriage … one family … under God. Bring your favorite movie snacks and a beach chair to view the movie. Sorry, child care is not provided.
